Phase 1:
ECM performed PS&E (Plans, Specifications & Estimates) and Construction Management for the beautification of Mary Van Dyke Park in the City of South El Monte. The park’s playground equipment was fully replaced, a new picnic area was created, new restroom facilities were installed, a new recreational facility was erected, new walkways and a new fence were set in place as well as new landscaping and lighting. The project was completed in May of 2010.
Phase 2:
ECM is currently overseeing the second phase of Mary Van Dyke Park’s renovation. We helped procure the Rivers, Mountains & Conservancy (RMC) Grant in order to fund the project, have completed the PS&E (Plans, Specifications & Estimates) and will also be responsible for Construction Management of the project. This second phase will consist of new fencing, two new T-Ball baseball diamonds, a new picnic shelter area, a pedestrian crossing, more walkway areas, grading and landscaping. The project commenced on January of 2011 and its completion is scheduled for April of 2011.
